2,2'-Azobis(2-Methylpropionitrile) is an oil-soluble azo initiator. Azo initiator is the first-order reaction with stable reaction, no side reaction and good control, so it is widely used in the research and production of polymers. For example, vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, acrylonitrile and other monomer polymerization initiators can also be used as foaming agents for polyvinyl chloride, polyolefin, polyurethane, polyvinyl alcohol, acrylonitrile and butadiene and styrene copolymers, polyisocyanate, polyvinyl acetate, polyamide and polyester. In addition, it can also be used for other organic synthesis.
Application:
AIBN is used as initiator for polymerization of polyacrylamide, polyurethane, polyether polyol and so on.
Also used in rubber,pesticide,organic glass for blowing agent.
Widely used in the research and production of polymer.
